From out of more than 3,000 entrepreneurs asked to join the Startup Challenge in January 2016, MobileODT won the grand prize of $50,000 to support the further development of the EVA System. Sponsored by Genentech (a member of the Roche Group), the Quest Award was developed to find innovative and bold solutions from the start-up and healthcare sectors to uncover more impactful digital and viable solutions in the fight against Cervical Cancer.

Participants were requested to submit their solutions under five categories: Awareness, Education, Screening Technologies, Reducing Stigma, and Other. The five finalists chosen pitched their ideas during a live event in San Francisco in April 2016. In addition to an unconditional cash prize of $50k, MobileODT will also receive one year of continued mentorship from Genentech.
