Dedicated to making medical care available to the billions who have access to mobile phones, but not to physicians. Before co-founding MobileODT, Ariel co-founded and served as the Global CEO of the PresenTense Group from 2005 – 2013, an accelerator for social ventures that has launched over 1000 ventures from franchise operations in sixteen cities around the world. Ariel has a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, an MPA (Masters in Public Administration) from New York University (NYU) in Management, and an MA from NYU in Jewish Studies. Ariel teaches at the Inter-Disciplinary Center in Herzliya (IDC), and lectures in workshops about social business and startup development around the world.
Dr. Levitz has 17+ years of experience in tissue analysis using biomedical optical methods, with specialty in OCT and spectral imaging. In addition to his roles at MobileODT, Dr. Levitz also chairs the “Optics and Biophotonics in Low Resource Settings” conference at SPIE’s annual Photonics West meetings. Dr. Levitz got a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering/optics from the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY, USA) in 2002. He then spent 3 years working with Risø National Laboratory (Roskilde, Denmark), and Lund University (Lund, Sweden) developing an image-processing algorithm to measure optical scattering properties from optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. Using this method, Dr. Levitz identified differences between normal and atherosclerotic arterial tissues. Dr. Levitz was awarded a Whitaker scholarship for a postdoctoral fellowship in Israel.
Yaniv brings more than 15 years of extensive experience as an R&D manager in global corporations and startups. Yaniv’s experience includes building and leading large R&D teams as well as architecting the development of large and scalable Software systems, designing SW/FW/HW integrations and leading Agile/Scrum & CI/CD methodologies. In his previous positions, Yaniv was the Head of Software at Vantage.Team where he was also part of the founding team. Before Vantage.Team, Yaniv was the Head of Software at Fourier Education, and held group leadership positions at Kaltura and at Lang Messaging. Yaniv graduated (Cum Laude) a B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering and holds MBA from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
Family Medicine physician and social entrepreneur. Jonah completed his residency in Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania and currently works as a family doctor in Philadelphia. He has created and/or collaborated on dozens of social innovations and startups that improve the delivery of medical care to underserved communities. He is particularly enthusiastic about building multidisciplinary public-private partnerships to advance primary care and social justice. He has deep expertise in new models of technology and relationship based care delivery that address access gaps and improve care quality both in the US and abroad.
Jen has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Brandeis University. She has experience at both the institutional and industry levels, having worked in the Melanoma and Sarcoma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and on the Clinical and Medical Affairs team at MelaSciences (a medical device company whose product was used to aid in the early detection of melanoma). Her experience includes regulatory documentation, clinical protocol design, remote site installations, data monitoring/analysis, and clinical study reports.
Roger has over 20 years of experience leading Product Management and Product Design teams at global technology companies. Prior to joining MobileODT, Roger was Director of Information Governance at IBM where he drove IBM’s governance strategy and established industry-leading governance and metadata management offerings used by thousands of customers, such as Bank of America, Aetna, Boeing, AT&T and ING. During his 11 years at IBM, Roger also managed product management, design and machine learning teams for IBM Watson. Before IBM, Roger held management positions at telecommunications and image recognition companies such as RAD Data Communications and Polycom. Roger obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Morag brings over 20 years of extensive finance management experience to MobileODT. Prior to joining the team, Morag worked in various positions for Lumenis- a Global medical device company with $250M annual revenue and 1000 employees, where she was most recently the Senior Director & Finance Manager of the strategic business divisions and prior to that hold positions of Corporate Treasurer, Corporate FP&A manager, Corporate Director of cost accounting and controller of the Israeli company. Morag obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Haifa University and her MBA from the Technion Institute of Israel.
Adi has held managerial positions in both sales and business development roles for the last 15 years in the medical device industry where her clinical areas of focus include dermatology, urology, cardiology, ENT, and gynecology. Adi’s expertise lies in strategic planning, product positioning and establishing sales operations in global markets. Most recently, Adi was the Global Associate Director of Medical Devices at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Adi obtained her B.Sc in Biology from Tel-Aviv University.
